HOMEOPATHY
Homeopathy is a safe, natural and highly specialized practice of
health care which treats the individual rather than the disease. It
has been used by millions of people worldwide for more than 200
years. Homeopathy recognizes that the whole person—mind, body, and
spirit—is affected when one is sick. The homeopath seeks to cure,
rather than suppress, symptoms, which are viewed as signals of
system imbalance.
Patient-specific remedies are made from singular animal, mineral, or
plant sources in extremely small amounts and work to restore balance
to the body’s vital force and return it to health. The choice of
remedy is based on symptoms and peculiarities unique to the patient
discovered during a comprehensive history. In the classic approach
to homeopathy, a remedy is given and usually works for several
months until another dose is given, a different remedy is required
or the patient is cured. This curative process can be nearly
immediate at times.
Homeopathy works particularly well on children who may otherwise be
sensitive to adverse side effects of prescriptive medications.
There are a host of remedies suitable for the medicine cabinet which
is used in a first-aid situation when an acute illness or injury has
occurred. These usually act quickly to bring relief.
